When Reuben Bullock of Reuben and the Dark dreamt of a sold-out show at the Jack Singer Concert Hall in Calgary, Gentle Lion relied heavily on a media relations strategy to generate coverage around not only the show itself, but unique story angles pulled from Reuben’s personal interests. Gentle Lion secured a range of lifestyle coverage in some of Canada’s most read publications and most watched platforms leading up to the show. Audience groups were consistently reminded to purchase tickets while even further endeared to Reuben’s talent, persona and causes.
