Bridging the gap between people living with/impacted by dementia and Gen Z.

For younger folks in the community that may lack awareness and have less exposure to people experiencing dementia, Gentle Lion put together 3 key activities, to provide more knowledge and education in everyday interactive environments. An interactive “Cheer Station” at the annual Alzheimer’s Walk & Run encouraged teens to make signs of their own and cheer on loved ones. On World Alzheimer’s Day, 20 local coffee and ice cream shops utilized a “Tip Sheet” to educate their staff and guests. And on Alzheimer Awareness Month, a dozen fitness studios put together a dedicated class that educated participants and raised funds for the cause.
