The Challenge

Calgary’s food festival landscape had become tired and predictable, lacking the creativity and energy needed to drive restaurant traffic, build community, and raise funds for The Alex Community Food Centre in a post-COVID dining environment.

Our Solution

We reimagined the food festival format and created Pasta La Feasta!, a multi-component campaign that spanned a full month of restaurant participation, with themed prompts for chefs to explore creative dishes and drive diners back into their favourite restaurants.

In six years, the campaign has raised over $45k for The Alex, spotlighted more than 30 local restaurants, and become a beloved fixture on Calgary's culinary calendar.

Campaign

Creation of a fun brand, along with annual themes such as: Pasta as an album cover, childhood nostalgic favourites, famous pasta from movies and literacy.

Execution

A heavy digital ads campaign targeted audiences towards a database that we could remarket to year after year.

The results speak for themselves.
